Road Condition Black at Ramstein Air Base represents extremely hazardous to dangerous road conditions, and is typically accompanied by an early release or delayed reporting. As the most severe condition, some of the hazards that may call for a change to Black are temperatures less than 10 degrees Fahrenheit, more than eight inches of snow, extreme sheets of ice, heavy snow drifts, and reduced visibility of less than 50 feet.
