Day 1- Drinking and Driving: When an Airman receives a Driving Under the Influence (DUI) charge, they are subject to receive both a civilian conviction, if caught off base, as well as a punishment at their commander’s discretion. The final sentence could result in thousands of dollars in fines, suspension of one's license, negative paperwork, administrative demotion and possible loss of career.

Day 2- Fire Safety: The U. S. Air Force operates with unusual materials in unique environments all over the world. We need safety at the forefront. Air Force Fire Protection specialists deal with everything from fire safety and brush fires to burning rocket fuel and fires from hazardous materials. To uphold our mission of ensuring the safety of others, these specialists don’t just operate on Air Force bases, they also assist civilian fire departments when needed.

Day 3- Ladder Safety: In 2019, ladder-related incidents led to more than 150 worker fatalities and over 20,000 nonfatal injuries, according to data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Ladders have ranked seventh on OSHA’s annual “Top 10” list of most cited violations in the past two years.

Day 4- Slips and Trips: Create and maintain proper lighting, and wear proper shoes. Clean up spills immediately. If a spill can’t be cleaned up right away, place “wet floor” warning signs for workers. Keep walkways and hallways free of debris, clutter and obstacles. Keep filing cabinets and desk drawers shut when not in use. Cover cables or cords in walkways. Consider installing abrasive floor mats or replacing worn flooring.
