Anticipate the bad stuff

Airman 1st Class James Kirshner, 377th Security Forces Squadron, Kirtland, AFB, N.M., ended up with road rash, as well as a concussion, shattered collarbone and a leg laceration when he hit a deep rut while riding his dirt bike. An experienced rider, Kirshner wore proper protective gear and was riding with friends at the time of the accident. His advice to fellow riders is stay within your skill level, pay attention to the surroundings and anticipate what’s around the next turn or at the top of a hill.
