Maj. Gen. Jeannie Leavitt co-pilots UH-1 Huey flight
U.S. Air Force Maj. Gen. Jeannie Leavitt, Department of Air Force Chief of Safety, Air Force Safety Center commander, prepares to takeoff in a UH-1 Huey at the 58th Special Operations Wing, Kirtland Air Force Base, N.M., Feb. 15, 2022. During her visit Leavitt toured the 512th Rescue Squadron and co-piloted a UH-1 Huey flight. Leavitt is a command pilot with more than 3,000 flight hours, including 300 combat flight hours and has piloted various aircraft such as the F-15E, T-37, T-38A and AT-38B.
