Motorists urged to drive cautiously as peak deer-vehicle collision season returns

Deer vehicle collision, or DVC, data has been collected on Arnold Air Force Base since 1987. While the risk has declined significantly over the years, based on this analysis using linear regression, the hazard of driving on roads in the presence of deer still remains. (Graphic contributed)
