Department of the Air Force Rider page graphic

This page was created to keep all Air Force and Space Force riders informed on the most current Department of Defense and Department of the Air Force Instructions and provide managers of motorcycle training programs and Unit Motorcycle Safety Representative (MSR's) an avenue for advertising service sponsored motorcycle trainer training workshops.

The #DAFRider video series will give all Air and Space Force riders another avenue to acquire skills, learn to build a rider mentality, and educate riders on current standards and techniques.

Before riding, every DAFRider should be physically capable, mechanically sound, in a riding mindset to internalize safe riding, and mentally prepared to mitigate risks inherent to riding a motorcycle.

What is MUSTT?

The Motorcycle Unit Safety Tracking Tool (MUSTT) was designed to provide training data for the Department of the Air Force motorcycle riders and fill the requirements for monitoring both rider demographics and training outlined in AFI 91-207, U.S. Air Force Traffic Safety Program. With the data collected the DAF can make informed decisions on what guidance changes need to be made to keep Airmen and Guardians safe while driving a motorcycle and what training each rider has received.

Motorcyclists from the 152nd Airlift Wing gather at the Nevada Air National Guard Base, Reno, Nevada, for an annual motorcycle mentorship training, June 24, 2022.
