The 100th Civil Engineer Squadron hosted Fire Prevention Week events to raise awareness about fire safety at Royal Air Force Mildenhall, England, Oct. 3-9.

“Look. Listen. Learn. Be aware – fire can happen anywhere," was this year's theme. This year's events included a fire muster, open house and reading with Sparky the Dog to spread fire safety awareness. During the week, Col. Gene Jacobus, 100th Air Refueling Wing commander, signed a proclamation signaling the start of Fire Prevention Week. Fire Prevention Week is held annually to spread fire safety knowledge among the base populace.
