  1. What is your official job title?
My job is as the 931st Air Refueling Wing Occupational Safety non-commissioned officer.

  2. What is your hometown? Where did you grow up?
I am a military brat, so I grew up wherever we were stationed but I lived longest in Rochester, New York.

  3. What is your civilian job? Are you an ART, ARG or TR)?
I am a Traditional Reservist (TR). I have done cyber work in various forms for most of my career but have recently transitioned into safety work.

  4. Why did you join the Air Force?
I joined because I wanted to serve and be part of something bigger than myself.

  5. Why do you continue to fight in the Air Force?
I continue to fight in the Air Force for the people I serve with and also for those I serve.

  6. What are your goals (i.e. personal, school)?
Professionally, my goals are always to be the best I can be at what I am doing in the moment.  Personally, my goal is, and always has been, to help lead my family toward God, by raising respectful young men and women who also have that goal as they grow and begin families of their own.

  7. What are your hobbies?
I enjoy working on our little hobby farm, raising our “herd” of kids, reading and writing science fiction.

  8. How do you contribute to the 931st ARW mission?
As a safety professional, I help ensure that all our Airmen and assets are available today, tomorrow and into the future.

  9. What challenges do you face?
The biggest challenge I have always faced is finding the time to keep all of my commitments.  This has not changed over time, despite my learning multiple techniques to better manage my time. It seems like those demands have become greater.

  10. What's your favorite part of the mission?
My favorite part about this mission is the people. Especially, people who love what they do. That is what makes my job special.
