Minot's first snow
MINOT AFB, N.D. – A 5th Civil Engineer Squadron snowplow clears an intersection here today. Only snow and mission-essential Airmen reported to duty because of the storm. As of 11 a.m., the base had received 5 inches of snow, had winds averaging 45 mph and maintained a temperature of 32 degrees. This is Minot’s first snow of the year. (Photo by Staff Sgt. Joe Laws)
