Crash Lab adds heavies

Finishing touches are put on the access road through the debris field mid-September at the Air Force Crash Lab on Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico to accommodate placement of new aircraft. Three heavy aircraft with more than 342,000 pounds of wreckage were delivered to the lab over the last few weeks to be used during the hands-on portion of the Aircraft Mishap Investigation Course taught at the Safety Center.
