Airstrikes to bird strikes: historic island tackles new battle

Terns fly over Peale Island, Wake Atoll, Jan. 31, 2020. This causes the atoll to employ a vital, multi-tiered bird aircraft strike hazard program to prepare for mission success and readiness.
