CES Safety Stand-Down Day

Safety Photos

The intersection of UT-193 and Hill Field Road outside the South Gate at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. 75th Air Base Wing Safety issued a warning to motorcycle riders in June about the danger of asphalt cracks sealed with tar, creating what's often referred to as "tar snakes." With temperatures gradually warming into the summer months, the tar can become soft and may increase the risk of a motorcycle rider losing control. (Courtesy photo)
