The BASH Program
A propane air cannon sits out on the airfield at Laughlin Air Force Base, Texas, March 1, 2022. Brandon Nooner, 47th Flying Training Wing civilian wildlife biologist, uses these cannons to produce a gunshot-like sound to scare birds and other wildlife away from the airfield to provide the safest flying environment possible.
