Yokota Air Base receives traffic safety award
Toshiaki Kikuchi, Superintendent, Chief of Fussa Police Station, speaks to attendees and recipients during an award presentation ceremony at the Fussa Police Station, Fussa, Japan, Dec. 7, 2022. Yokota Air Base has continuously demonstrated an interest in traffic safety and actively participated in the prevention of traffic mishaps in the local community. Promoting safe driving, emphasizing preparedness and enforcing traffic safety rules like following speed limits, wearing seatbelts, maintaining safe driving distances, and reminding people to make complete stops at all railroad crossings are all things the wing has focused on to ensure the Yokota and local community was safe and out of harm’s way.
