1 CBCS holds inaugural landing zone safety certification course

Caz Cusick, 1st Combat Communications Squadron radio and weather systems supervisor, measure the distance between landing zone marking panels at Chièvres Air Base, Belgium, Feb. 13, 2024. A combined team of air traffic controllers, airfield operations officers, radar airfield weather systems technicians and airfield managers earned their landing zone safety officer certification on Feb. 11 – 15, 2024.
