Kirtland Kicks Off Bike Safety Day with Fun, Food and Free Gear

With bright skies overhead and bikes of all sizes rolling through, Kirtland’s annual Bike Safety Day brought smiles, safety education, and a few surprises to families across base April 18. Hosted by the 377th Air Base Wing Safety Office, the event combined hands-on activities and interactive demonstrations to promote safe cycling habits for riders of all ages. Team Kirtland’s riders got the chance to choose a free bike helmet, ensuring that every young rider left better protected.
