    Cooking is the main cause of home fires any time of year, according to the Federal Emergency Management Agency, but they are especially common on Thanksgiving, often more than double the number for all other days of the year.

    As the Thanksgiving holiday approaches, remember to incorporate safety in all your activities. Be prepared for the unexpected and remind loved ones to do the same by using proper risk management to keep accidents at bay.
