U.S. Air Force Chief of Safety tours 512th Rescue Squadron co-pilots UH-1

U.S. Air Force Maj. Gen. Jeannie Leavitt, Department of Air Force Chief of Safety, toured and attended pre-flight briefings at the 512th Rescue Squadron before co-piloting a UH-1 Huey flight. As the Air Force Safety Center commander, Leavitt is responsible for the development, execution and evaluation of all Air and Space Force aviation, ground, weapons, space and system mishap prevention and nuclear surety programs to maintain combat capability.
