Safety Center major receives Walter and Sylvia Goldenrath Award

The award was presented during the AsMA honors ceremonies April 28, 2016, in Atlantic City, N.J. Harvey, a human factors physiologist in Headquarters Air Force Safety, Washington, D.C., was recognized for her investigation of the evidence base for human performance consequences of shift work. Her work was cited for the selection and evaluation of 26-peer-reviewed research papers and more than 80 abstracts leading to evidence-based recommendations for shift length, shift change speed and directions, and worker performance.
